It’s a new year and if you’re like most people, you’ve probably made a resolution or two. Making resolutions is all about making changes for the better, so why not make them happen in your health? It’s often hard to track our progress with fitness goals because we don’t always have the time to go to the gym or set up an elaborate home workout routine. In this article I’m going to give four simple ways that you can start tracking your health today!

Use a Planner: if you’re someone who likes to keep things written down, using a planner is a great way to track your health progress. Write down what days you worked out, ate healthy foods, and tracked your calories. Seeing it all in black and white will give you a good idea of how well you’re doing overall!
Use Technology: there are a lot of great health tracking apps out there that can help you stay on track. From counting your daily steps to logging your food intake, these apps can really help you see where you need improvement. You can also invest in a wearable fitness tracker to help you keep track of your progress.

Join a Support Group: if you’re trying to lose weight, a support group can help keep you motivated and accountable. You’ll be able to share your struggles with others going through the same thing as well as find people who have been successful in reaching their goals.
Write in Your Journal: if you’re someone who likes writing things down, having an entire journal dedicated to tracking your health progress is another good idea! Like I said before, seeing everything in black and white will help motivate you even more than just keeping things in your head.
These are just four simple ways that you can start tracking your health today! What other methods have you found to be helpful? I’d love to hear about them in the comments below! ?
